EMD  was founded in Melbourne Australia in 1993 and opened the Chicago office in 1995.  EMD is now headquartered in northern Illinois in suburban Libertyville. 

The initial focus was on business consulting with emphasis on analysis and finance.  Towards the end of the last decade, we played a key roll in providing Y2K solutions to companies in Australia and the Chicagoland area.  In 2001 we formed a new practice area for Cross Cultural Consulting in response to the growth in both domestic M&A activity and Globalization. 

In reality, we are finding that in almost all assignments involving more than one geographic location, culture plays a major role.  Check out the case studies for more details
